Getting Started

Vendreo empowers financial payment profiles to connect with their customers through Open Banking. Our API supports Account Information (AIS) and Payment Initiation services (PIS) that will enrich your customer's experience and create financial opportunity.


Getting started with Vendreo typically takes just a few minutes. After following these steps, you'll be ready to start your integration.

  1. Sign up here for a free Vendreo account.

  2. Creating a Payment Profile.

    • Upon registering you will be presented with the Create Payment Profile screen. Specify your Profile Name, set a Type of Open Banking and Environment of Live.
    • Edit your new Payment Profile & select Create Bank Account.
    • Choose your bank from the list and follow the on screen instructions.
  3. Integrating your website (optional).

    • To integrate with your site and access the API you must submit the KYC (Know Your Customer) form. To fill in yours click the KYC form reminder link at the top of the page listed in red.
    • Edit your Payment Profile, choose the API Settings tab and click the Generate Secret button (your token will only be shown once, so keep it somewhere safe).
    • Optionally, if you want to keep your payment profile informed about payments, you'll need to add a Callback URL in the edit section.
  4. Taking your first payment.

    • For single use payment requests use the Request A Payment feature to send a payment link to a customer.
    • For recurring payments use the URL Payments feature.
